To celebrate 135 years of electricity in Helsinki, RTI was commissioned to develop a special laser system. This blue RTI NANO laser projector, built according to customer requirements, was equipped exclusively with OPSL laser modules and has a total output of 15,000mW. The laser was installed in a protective housing on the roof of the city’s observatory and connects it to the Kallio Church, about 3 kilometers away. Every evening since the installation, the blue single beam of the RTI NANO can be seen above Helsinki’s longest street, Unioninkatu, between the observatory and the church.
