From July 29 to August 1, 2026, Wacken Open Air celebrated its 35th edition. Up to 80,000 metalheads made the pilgrimage to Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The lineup included Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Sabaton, Powerwolf and In Flames, among others.
The laser show was created by our long-standing customer laserfabrik. The team deployed a total of 14 of the new UNREAL 120: eight units were used for the beam show itself, while six more handled the projection mapping onto the iconic Wacken skull, the festival’s landmark.
The UNREAL 120 units were used in three individually programmed timecode shows, which also announced the lineup for next year.
