With the play “Zukunft braucht Herkunft” the Badisches Staatstheater at Karlsruhe celebrated its 300th birthday. The astonishing scenography created by the artistic collaboration Numen and Ivana Jonke showed the history of the building. By using a varity of installations, for example a fan of laser beams, the destruction and rebirth of the theater was shown.
