The 26th International Summer World Student Games were held in Shenzhen in 2011. From August 12th to 23rd many top athletes from universities from all over the world got together to compete in the south-China metropolis.

Colored laser graphics, harmonically emphasizing the surrounding spectacle of dancers and acrobats, were projected onto a screen which was structured like a string curtain and placed in a semicircle inside the stadium.
