This laser art installation was presented at Monopol Berlin in 2025, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of LaserAnimation Sollinger. The impressive display was created by laser artist Fubbi Karlsson using LaserAnimation Sollinger’s PHAENON accurate laser systems.
The title, ‘Geometrical Correction’, reflects the fusion of artistic creativity and technical innovation. The PHAENON systems feature a powerful and versatile mainboard that enables the precise definition of projection zones, a function known as Digital Geometrical Correction (DGC). This feature enabled the laser projections to be positioned precisely onto the room’s structural frames or other characteristics on any surface through software settings alone, resulting in a setup that was both safe and easy to operate.
This extraordinary piece of laser art incorporated the building’s architecture and the remaining room frames to create a truly immersive and overwhelming effect.
Our thanks go to Fubbi Karlsson for this fantastic laser installation.
The visual content was randomly generated and driven by a generative trigger system, ensuring that the installation constantly evolved. The display never looked the same twice; it continuously transformed.
