DEEP WEB 2019

Over six weeks in summer 2019, the audiovisual installation DEEP WEB was shown at the Kraftwerk in Berlin. In the DEEP WEB exhibition, the audience was able to experience a 30-minute cycle of different shapes and soundscapes. Visitors were immersed in a gigantic amorphous sculpture of animated light lines and multidimensional sounds. In the live performance Christopher Bauder and Robert Henke controlled the huge audiovisual installation and showed the different possibilities of the construction.

With 12 PHAENON X laser projectors and 175 moving spheres Christopher Bauder and Robert Henke transformed the place into an abstract scene like out of a movie. The laser projection was tuned to the movement of the balloons and depending on one’s own position in the room, one could immerse oneself in the sea of lights or observe the magical light creature from a distance.
