The new LA.tools 2024.1 release brings numerous new features and improvements.
LA.dsp2aiff
The new LA.dsp2aiff application can be used to convert DSP/ILDA images and animations into AIFF files. This extension supports the following file formats: .PIC, .ANI, .CATL folder, .ILDA/.ILD. The same conversion parameters are used as for Lasergraph DSP. The requirements correspond to those of LA.tools, but without AVB.
In addition, there are further improvements in the software programs of the LA.tools Suite:
LA.player 2024/07/15 (version 2.3.4):
The output stream size has been made configurable
LA.recorder 2024/07/15 (version 2.3.4):
There is now a loopback option where the input signal is output again (e.g. for ILDA2AVB -> LA.recorder- > projector)
If scene markers are present, only full frames will be recorded.
Option to record only a single frame
A single frame can now also be recorded
The colours yellow and cyan are now supported for all visualisation programs
An option for visualisation colour delay has been added
LA.toolbox 2024/07/05 (version 4.0.1):
Increase workspace to 4000 and constrain items to workspace
Improved error detection for certain devices
The behaviour of the main window when loading, context menu and selecting/deselecting has been improved
A selection is only deleted if the selection actually changes
Disable dropping devices onto other devices
New feature: DGC: point-align tool with Alt key (shift locks axis)
