Project Description

For the 300th anniversary of the Great Fountain in the Herrenhäuser Gardens in Hannover, Robert Henke created a fascinating outdoor laser installation. Four cyan Single Beams (wavelength 488 nm) followed the main axes of the park and came together at the Great Fountain. Four more PHAENON X RYGB projected onto the water fountain, illuminating the water tropics and surrounding mist and creating the impression of clouds of light floating above the fountain. The laser projections were accompanied by music.

Technical Implementation

The installation consisted of four PHAENON X 30000 RYGB laser projectors projecting colored laser areas onto the fountain and four BLITZ Pro laser projectors installed on the main axes of the park. Their cyan laser beams were aimed at the base of the large fountain. The longest laser beam was 500 meters long, from the castle to the fountain, guiding visitors through the park to the installation.
